She holds an MS in Engineering from the United States and spent nearly two decades driving success for Fortune 500 companies in Corporate America. While navigating a demanding corporate career, the sacred pull of Vedic Astrology became so profound that Saumya traveled across continents to study under a multitude of prestigious traditional teachers. Her rigorous dedication earned her the Silver Medal for Jyotish Visharda from the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS) in 2025. Her extensive lineage-based training includes Science of Light under Freedom Cole, and she currently pursues the Parasara Jyotisa Course (PJC) under the revered Master Sanjay Rath and Mentor Sarbani Rath.
Inspired by Jyotish and the Vedic essence of Dana (sacred giving), Saumya established her philanthropic organization, Divine Charity, in 2024. Under her leadership, the foundation has already successfully completed more than 27 charity drives, bridging spiritual wisdom with tangible social impact.
