The Śrī Jagannāth Center has been holding workshops and conferences since its inception in 1998. These seminars have produced fine papers by the most erudite jyotiṣa scholars. We plan to upload the old records for the benefit of all readers under the Archives Section.

After a long break of 15 years SJC has decided to restart its annual conference from 2021. This year we have a number of old faces who are mentors of our Parāśara Jyotiṣa Course or Jaimini Scholar Program, presenting papers. Keeping with the Jagannāth progressive attitude, we have some new speakers as well as Raman Suprajarama, the grandson of Dr. B.V.Raman.

The topic “Śarīra: The Astrological Body” is a serious beginning in the use of Vedic Astrology for the purpose of healing and wellness. Our objective is to make people aware of using jyotiṣa not only for maintaining good health but also for curing diseases, timing surgery etc.
